Box Latch™ Products are bound for Italy!
Inpro will be conducting pilot tests using Box Latch™ Products within their distribution center in Muskego, WI (World Headquarters) and at their new distribution center in Orvieto, Italy. Mike Labodda (pictured, above right) will be taking a box of Box Latch™ Products with him to Italy this month to see how they can benefit the company's operations. Specifically, he will be exploring the benefits of Box Latch™ Products related to reductions in cardboard box purchases, reducing waste to landfill, and the aesthetic benefits within 5S systems (i.e. standards & discipline.)
Jack Wilson, Inventor of Box Latch™ Products (pictured, above left) has been working with members of the Inpro team, Sustainability Manager Amanda Goetsch, and DC Shipping Supervisor Mike Labodda, since December 2016.
As the founders of Eco Latch Systems learned that their Box Latch™ products were best suited for a more eco-focused market in Western Europe, they also learned of the immense resources to grow their export options that existed in their home state of Wisconsin. Everywhere they turned, their consultants said, “You have to enroll in and complete the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation’s (WEDC) ExporTech course.”
In the fall of 2016, the leadership team at Box Latch™ Products enrolled in the ExporTech course. The resources available to expand exports from Wisconsin are amazing. In fact, of the 700 companies that have been through the ExporTech courses throughout the USA, 125 are in Wisconsin.
