About US

Eco-Latch Systems, LLC (ELS) was founded in the spring of 2010 with two key goals in mind.
1. Increase the efficiency and reduce the cost of closing, opening and reclosing corrugated boxes.
2. Reduce businesses’, individuals’ and society’s carbon footprint by promoting reuse of corrugated boxes.

With production from selected extruded plastics companies, ELS manufactures and sells the patent pending Box Latch™ Through our products we are dedicated to providing companies and consumers with better ways to store, close, move, ship and, when necessary, seal boxes in a cost effective and eco-friendly way.

Jack Wilson

Jack D. Wilson, inventor of Box Latch™ and several other products, is co-founder of Eco-Latch Systems, LLC. As a Wisconsin native and University of Wisconsin alumni, he has supported eco-friendly business practices since their inception. Jack is highly motivated by helping people in any way he can. He has truly developed a product that can do just that by creating a more efficient and cost-effective packaging strategy for individuals and businesses alike. Jack has worked hard to teach the benefits of “GREENER” business practices and looks forward to a day when everyone will reduce, re-use, and recycle on a regular basis.

Jim Wilson

James F. Wilson, DVM, JD Co-founder of Eco-Latch Systems, LLC, and Jack’s brother, has spent his career helping animals, their owners and the veterinarians who care for them. As a speaker, author, teacher and consultant, Jim has always tried to invent better, more efficient mouse traps for success. Thus, when the Box Latch™ eco-friendly box closing device was invented, he was eager to use his knowledge of law and business to promote the positive effects the Box Latch™ product line will have on the employees who use this time saving invention, the environment and the financial bottom line of the businesses that embrace this new technology.

"Our mission is to stimulate and educate individuals, businesses and government agencies
to close, move, ship, store, re-open, and re-use boxes in more environmentally friendly
and cost-saving ways by providing the means to do so."
